What if we are looking at the wrong price?
The price of oil is below $90. And diesel? Around $180 a barrel.
The real energy risk may lie between the well and your tank: transportation, insurance, refining, storage. A supply chain that’s under strain, while everyone’s eyes remain fixed on Brent. Because diesel powers trucks, farm machinery, and part of the industrial sector.
The next inflationary shock could therefore come from a place the market is still paying too little attention to.
